Last week, we shared our January newsletter featuring Owen’s piece on Ida-Marie and her work at @lindegaarden_lillelyngby 🌱

Over the last months, the newsletter provided a platform to highlight the amazing farmers and producers that are part of the Grønt Marked. Exploring their reasons for adopting alternative and less impactful production methods and their implications for the environment and our well-being.

You can read the article on our website (link in Bio) and find out why Ida-Marie learnt the value of nature from an early age, why she farms in a way that encourages biodiversity, her desire to communicate what she does, and why she sees Grønt Marked as the perfect place to do so!

While the winter break provides us with valuable time to reflect on the past seasons and recharge our energies, we are already planning the upcoming 2024 markets season and are excited to share more details with you soon!

Nørrebro Christmas Farmers Market 🎄 This Sund

Nørrebro Christmas Farmers Market 🎄

This Sunday we will have our last market of the year! Stop by and celebrate the end of the 2023 market season with us, stock up on ingredients for your Julefrokost and get hold of some Christmas presents!

To celebrate the occasion, we are planning a series of free extra activities that will be generously supported by Nørrebro Lokaludvalg – @jeg_bor_paa_noerrebro

Starting from 11:30 @myneighbourdave will be playing some live jazz music from our trailer stage! At 12:00 @choirclubcph will be performing some Christmas carols. Come and sing with us 🎄

We will have a free ginger cookie-decoration workshop for the kids at the volunteer tent – they’ll come away with a cookie and some icing 🧡

Finally, Landsorten will be at the market to talk about grain biodiversity, while @bagerietb will be baking some special loaves for the market.

After the great success of last week, at the Grønt Marked Kitchen we will again be serving brioche buns with fried eggs from @soagergard, roasted mushrooms from @bygaard and caramelised onions.

On Sunday we will have our first Christmas market of December together with @oenshave ! You’ll find us on @refshaleoen , inside Øens Have and Bygaard’s gardens from 10:00 til 15:00. There, we will light up fires and make plenty of hot drinks and food to keep you warm 🎄

🎶 At 11:30 (and again at 12:30), the Absalon Choir will join us to sing Christmas carols

🍪From 11:00 until 14:00 kids will be able to join our volunteers for ginger cookie decoration session inside Øens Have big yurt!

☃️ There will also be a seed bomb workshop and a treasure hunt in the garden

🌾 Finally, don’t forget our grains and bread biodiversity exhibition – make sure to stop by to learn about grains diversity and bread making

Come and join us to do your weekly shopping and buy Christmas presents in a way that supports local economies 🧡

You’ll find us on @refshaleoen , inside Øens Have and Bygaard’s gardens from 10:00 til 15:00.
