OUR MARKETS

Refshaleøen

The original location – where the market began.
Just across from Lille Bakery, a close collaborator and dear friend of Grønt Marked.

When you step off the last stop of the “2A” bus, direction Refshaleøen, you’re there.
Also always a lovely windy cycle or walk.

refshaleoen

Refshaleøen is an old industrial area, home to huge shipyards and wastewater treatment plants.

Now there are museums and bakeries, and many small-scale independent creative businesses.
It’s a nice island to walk around and explore.

The island is also where we held the first Harvest Festival in 2022.
There were many interesting panel-talks, food related workshops, live music and finally a big dinner at island neighbors Øen’s Have. Read more about the festival here.

Vesterbro

There’s a lot to do in Vesterbro, and the market is always a very lively event.

A lovely square by the old church in a charming neighbourhood, easily cycled or a short walk from the main station.

The local bakery Bageriet Brød often have a stall with their delicious pastries, and there are many local small food shops around the area to try. We say go for a stroll!

Nørrebro

It’s always a good day when there’s a Nørrebro Market – we think.
We can only recommend taking a peek next 3rd Sunday of the month.

Easily reached with Cityringen Metro, the 6A bus or bike, the area around Skjolds Plads is a new happening neighborhood in outer Nørrebro, halfway to Østerbro and close to Bispebjerg park.

skjolds_plads

In this location, we will plan a series of extra activities which will be supported by the Skjolds Plads cultural and urban life Kvarterkroner renewal pool. You can read more about the renewal pool here.
