Kysøko is an organic and pesticide-free farm run by Anders and Susanne. Spanning 17 hectares of land, the farm dedicates 6 hectares solely to fruit production. The story of this beautiful farm goes back generations and has been in the family’s possession as far back as 1797.

As a small-scale, low-impact regenerative farm, there’s an inevitable synergy then between
Søagergård’s produce; primarily eggs, pork, milk, and honey. 

As Marianne explains, “The bees make
nectar from the clover flower, and the clover fields provide nutrition for the cows… and with the
cows eating the taller grasses and the chickens scratching the ground eating insects, they all have

different effects in terms of how they ruminate”.

As he walked me around his farm in Denmark’s Central Zealand, I interviewed Adam to find out about what he does at Planteskolen Evigt Liv.

He told me how he believes in doing things differently in order to contribute to a world where farming follows the cycles of nature, and mitigates the release of greenhouse gases, all the while enhancing the beauty of the landscape and the diversity of our diet.

Hvorfor et bondemarked?

We believe all farmers should have the possibility to sell at a fair price directly to the consumers – at the same time, consumers should have access to fresh, seasonal, local and healthy food. In this sense, Farmers Market are an important step towards connecting local farmers and end-consumers, cutting out the middleman. Moreover, Farmers Market are places where to build relations – they contribute to creating a transparent food-shopping alternative where human connection and community comes first.

Hvilke produkter kan jeg finde på markedet?

Lokale, sæsonbestemte og bæredygtigt dyrkede grøntsager, frugter, svampe, korn og blomster. Etiske og bæredygtige animalske produkter såsom æg, ost, mælk, kød og pålæg. Håndlavet eddike, spiritus, syltetøj, fermenterede produkter etc. Altsammen lavet på lokale og bæredygtige råvarer. For mere info, kan du tjekke vores retningslinjer..

Kan Grønt Marked organisere et marked til min begivenhed?

Man kan desværre ikke booke markedet. Markedet er ikke tænkt som underholdning, men som et regulær tilbagevendene alternativ til at købe ind. Hovedformålet er at give producenterne en platform til at sælge deres varer direkte til dem som spiser dem, samtidigt med at forbrugerne skal have kunne købe god, sund mad mens de lærer om fødevaresystemet. For at skabe et succesfuldt marked for os, skal fokus altid ligge på dyrkerne på landet og deres råvarer.

Hvilke betalingsformer modtager I?

Alle producenterne modtager MobilePay og kontanter. Nogle af dem kan også tage imod kort. 

Sælger i plastikposer?

Vi anbefaler at du medbringer din egne poser hjemmefra. De fleste producenter bruger genanvendelig emballage når muligt, men ost og juice er nogle gange indpakket i plastik. Alle producenterne bruger bionedbrydelige materialer til at indpakke råvarerne - når nødvendigt - som lever op til kravene fra Fødevarestyrelsen.

Er der læ i tilfælde af regn?

Grønt Marked finder sted under åben himmel, så der er ikke meget læ at finde.
